In 2007, Indian Expressions created a premium business award event platform to showcase Asian business achievers and the efforts of Asian entrepreneurial titans who had contributed to the development of the Middle East region.
Held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on December 8, 2007, Asian Business Awards Middle East™ was the region’s premier award event for recognizing exemplary business excellence in the Middle East.
The ABA ME recognized and rewarded contributions of pioneering businesses and entrepreneurs through its eight Business Awards and three Arab Business Excellence Awards. With all the glitz, glamour and excitement of a world-class event, the ABA ME 2007 honored eleven outstanding individuals at a glittering red-carpet ceremony, which was graced by an exceptional assembly of business titans and dignitaries from across the world.
Over four years of critical change and transformation in the global economic environment, where Asia’s role has been redefined, the Asian Business Leadership Forum Awards taking inspiration from the ABA ME 2007, have incorporated a new identity and a wider reach to include the key players of the new Asian business-scape.
